Riddim Hits Major Milestones
The Big Links Riddim, released on December 2 by Full Blown Entertainment, features four standout tracks, including Machel Montano’s “The Truth,” Kes’ “No Sweetness,” Yung Bredda’s “Greatest Bend Over,” and Full Blown Entertainment’s own “Good Spirits.” From the moment it dropped, the riddim has hit the ground running, quickly making its mark with some memorable milestones.
- Yung Bredda’s First #1
“Greatest Bend Over” has become Yung Bredda’s first-ever #1 song on Apple Music (All Genres) in Trinidad & Tobago, holding the top spot since December 21. His previous highest charting song was “Nuh Basic,” which peaked at #5 in June 2022. The track continues to gain momentum. - Full Blown’s First Top Charting Track
Full Blown Entertainment, known for writing and producing hits for others, are making waves with their own track on the Riddim, “Good Spirits.” This song marks their first time charting on Apple Music (All Genres), currently sitting at #13 in Trinidad. Previously, their single “Wassy” peaked at #66 on the Apple Music (World) chart. “Good Spirits” has already become their most-streamed track on Spotify, with streams more than three times higher than any of their previous songs. - All Four Songs in the Top 15 on Apple Music (All Genres) in Trinidad & Tobago
Perhaps the most impressive achievement is that all four tracks from the Big Links Riddim are currently in the Apple Music Top 100 in Trinidad & Tobago, with all of them sitting within the Top 15 as of December 31. This is a remarkable accomplishment, as it’s rare for every track on a riddim to perform this well and this quickly. Along with its strong showing on Apple Music locally, the riddim has also generated nearly 300k Spotify streams in just one month.
These milestones have set a new benchmark for other riddims. With the Trinidad Carnival season just getting started, there’s no telling how much bigger the Big Links Riddim can get. Congratulations to all of those involved in this Riddim.
